How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

• Your full name.
• The email address associated with your account.
• The product name, such as TheShortener.
• Your username or other account identifier, if available.
• If you used a social login method such as Facebook Login, identify the login provider used.
• Any additional detail that helps us verify the request and locate the relevant account.

What we delete

Once a verified deletion request is approved, we will generally delete or deactivate applicable account data such as:

• Account profile and authentication mappings.
• Saved product content, link records, or campaign records associated with the account, unless retention is required for security or legal reasons.
• Connected social login records that are not required for ongoing security, fraud prevention, or compliance.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

• Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
• Dispute resolution and enforcement of our terms.
• Compliance with legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting obligations.
• Internal records showing that a deletion request was received and processed.

Response timing

We aim to acknowledge verified deletion requests within 7 business days and complete them within 30 days where reasonably possible. More time may be required when additional verification or legal review is necessary.

Users who signed in with Facebook Login or another provider

If you used Facebook Login or another supported provider, include that information in your request so we can identify the corresponding provider-specific account record. Removing an app connection at the provider level may not be enough for us to locate and delete the related product account unless we can match it to your request.
